The following comment was attached to this application.
The Council has a growing concern regarding the polarisation of the parish housing stock between small cottages and larger, luxury housing. We are increasingly seeing modest and medium sized properties being enlarged with addition of extra bedrooms and reception rooms. A sustainable community is one in which there is a diversity of housing stock available to accommodate people at all stages of life and with the full range of housing needs. The Council recognises that the parish is rapidly loosing medium sized, family homes and the opportunity these properties present for local people to move within the parish as their housing needs change with growing families.
1/D/10/000719 – 11 Hive Close. Single storey extension. There were no objections.
1/D/10/000710 – Cliff Farm House. Conservatory. There were no objections.
1/D/10/000692 – Burton Cliff Hotel. Timber look -out. There were no objections.
Tree Report:
TP/10/00109 - 8 Norburton. 1.Sycamore. remove 3 lowest branches to raise crown, remove ariel, crown clean and remove deadwood, and crown thin by a maximum of 30%. Cllr Toms had visited the site. There were no objections.
